Description

High schools need teachers in a wide range of subject areas to provide a comprehensive education. These areas include core academic subjects like English, health, math, science, and social studies, as well as specialized subjects such, IT, the arts (visual and performing),

Tasks

  • Assist lead teachers in classroom instruction across various subjects, including English, math, science, social studies, arts, or IT, American history, UK literature, US literature, US government, public speaking etc.
  • Support students with bilingual learning needs through tutoring, small group activities, or one-on-one assistance.
  • Create educational materials, presentations, and classroom resources to enhance learning.
  • Organize classroom activities, learning centers, and student projects.
  • Participate in school events, extracurricular activities, and cultural exchange initiatives to support student engagement.

Qualifications

  • Interest or coursework in education, teaching, or related fields (K–12).
  • Good communication skills in English (Portuguese is helpful but not mandatory).
  • Flexibility and creativity in working with students of diverse backgrounds and language levels.
  • Basic classroom management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to collaborate with teachers and contribute positively to a multicultural learning environment.

On Campus dorm, 3 meals/day in a ovo-lacto vegetarian cafeteria (all you can eat), free basic laundry services (15 pieces weekly), free access to gym & sports, free access to dorm social events included, Free wifi.

Notes or Special Conditions

Laptop or Tablet desirable, office work clothes dress code, bring Sabbath clothes, community service is available, etc. Language and cultural Brazilian classes available once a week.
