Note: Students who complete their advanced level with a minimum of 80% (B-) can apply to study at Andrews University to pursue an undergraduate or graduate degree without taking an English proficiency test.
Age: 18-22 and/or students with a high school diploma
Students can choose to come for only one semester or a full academic year.

Financial Disclaimer: Prices include books, room and board, insurance, tuition, and all trips and excursions hosted by UAP. Visa cost & airfare is not included. All students are charged health insurance and deposit fees in the first quarter that they attend the program.
F-1 Student Visa: Students requiring a student visa will need an I-20 form from Andrews University. To qualify for an I-20, students must first show proof of funds to cover the costs listed in the chart above. In addition, students will be required to pay a $350 fee (I-901 SEVIS fee) to schedule a visa appointment at a U.S. embassy. Please contact the International Financial Advisor at isfs@andrews.edu for more information, including steps to start the I-20 process and a cost calculation specific to your situation and needs.
Work. F-1 visa students can work up to 20 hours per week on the Andrews University campus. Students are encouraged to find a job to offset some of the costs highlighted above.
Arrival Airport: Students must fly into South Bend Airport, where Andrews University will pick them up. Those flying into Chicago need to make their own travel arrangements to Andrews University's campus.
The $500 International Student Deposit is refundable if there are no outstanding additional student fees or charges at the end of studies at Andrews University. If there are unpaid charges, the deposit will be used to settle those charges, and then the remainder will be refunded to the student.

Cultural Trips and Tours
Chicago (1 day) – Shop along the famous Magnificent Mile, visit the Art Institute of Chicago and the Museum of Science and Industry, stroll along Navy Pier and Millennium Park
Lake Michigan Towns and Parks (2-3 days)– Visit St. Joseph, a charming lakeside town with breathtaking views, beaches, shops, and restaurants. Experience the natural beauty of Warren Dunes State Park.
Battle Creek (1 Day) – Visit Battle Creek to learn more about the history of the Seventh-day Adventist Church. This is where the first Adventist college was opened, and where Ellen White and several other Adventist pioneers lived.
Sport Event (1 day) – Go to a sport event such as a baseball or baseketball game.
Be involved in the campus mission – Participate in weeks of prayer, interactive worship experiences, campus events, and other activities alongside native and fluent English speakers.
