Description
This internship supports a research project focused on the valorization of lúcuma (Pouteria lucuma), a native fruit with high nutritional potential. Interns will gain hands-on experience in laboratory techniques for analyzing bioactive compounds and antioxidant capacity in the pulp and by-products, contributing to the development of functional foods and ingredients.
Tasks
- Prepare and condition lúcuma pulp, peel, and seed samples for laboratory analysis
- Assist in physicochemical and spectrophotometric analyses
- Organize and record experimental data
- Conduct bibliographic research
- Prepare reagents and laboratory materials
