Description
Students will be given the opportunity to apply their theoretical knowledge in real work environments. These will include the on-campus clinic and health promotion initiatives aimed at both students and local community. Practical and meaningful learning will be facilitated by addressing theoretical aspects of clinical and community nutrition.
Tasks
- Attend classes taught by the faculty of the Nutrition program.
- Collaborate in the Nutrition Education activities carried out at UAP university cafeteria.
- Assist in the development of material for Nutrition Education interventions.
- Observe the professional performance of students and faculty in the areas of clinical and Public Health nutrition.
Qualifications
Advanced student in the final stage of the Nutrition Program
Supervision & Mentoring
Supervised by the Director of the Nutrition Program and the faculty.
Housing & Meals
Housing: shared room
Meals: 3 per day
Notes or Special Conditions
Bring laptop and scrubs.
