Description
This nursing internship is designed to provide comprehensive training experience in both simulated and clinical, community, and educational settings. Its focus is the development of clinical competencies, strengthening intercultural communication, and collaborative learning in real healthcare scenarios.
Tasks
- Assist nursing staff with initial patient assessments of different services, according to training level.
- Support basic procedures such as taking vital signs, wound care, preparing materials, and patient hygiene.
- Collaborate in health education activities for patients, the community, schools, and other institutions.
- Assist in auditing nursing records in physical or digital formats according to institutional regulations (in simulation).
- Participate in academic and scientific activities.
Qualifications
Nursing training and alignment with the Institutional worldview.
Supervision & Mentoring
The program director will oversee that the scheduled activities are carried out and ensure that faculty members guide interns throughout each stage, and will also help ensure that their stay at Universidad Adventista del Plata fulfills the purpose of the ACA Department
Housing & Meals
Housing: shared room
Meals: 3 per day
