Description

An opportunity to develop advanced pedagogical skills in a bilingual (K-12) environment by implementing and evaluating active teaching methodologies.

Tasks

  • Co-design and execute project-based learning (PBL) and gamified units.
  • Lead Conversation Labs for small groups.
  • Develop and implement formative and summative assessment tools.
  • Assist in coordinating immersion events such as the Bilingual Science Fair and English Festival.
  • Facilitate and co-lead English Sabbath School.

Qualifications

Education major or related field, creative, dynamic, passionate about innovative teaching.

Supervision & Mentoring

Supervisor at Alajuela Adventist Academy (weekly monitoring and orientation meetings).

Housing & Meals

Shared dormitory + 3 meals per day.

Notes or Special Conditions

Semi-formal/business casual dress code; worship participation required.
